Bitcoin To Hit $2.9M By 2050 As It Muscles Into Global Trade: VanEck

Wall Street is bullish bitcoin. The growing chorus of Patagonia vests calling for bitcoin to go to the moon seems to be largely ignored by the public. This is one of the few times it seems like a good idea to listen to the consensus view. Here and here are a couple of other reputable calls for bitcoin to go up bigly. And, lastly, my own writing on the topic from December of 2021. I should update this valuation methodology sometime soon.

War on the Cartels

McNair essentially predicted the Maduro kidnapping in an earlier piece. His assessment of the United States’ positioning on hemispheric defense / control is compelling. The AUV thesis is extremely interesting, and a little bit terrifying.

Frowny Cloud

Arthur Hayes is a gazillionaire from the crypto industry. While his takes on altcoins are largely awful, he understand the macro landscape better than all of Wall Street combined. TLDR; bitcoin is the global liquidity thermometer, and Trump is going to give the world a fever in 2026 to try to win the mid-terms. Bullish for anything they can’t readily print more of.
